Bambi: A Puppet Theatre Performance in Madrid

This puppet and object theatre piece, based on Félix Salten's original novel "Bambi, una vida en el bosque," offers a poetic and realistic vision of the life cycle in nature. Created and directed by Alba Vergne and Malgosia Szkandera, the performance goes beyond a simple animal tale, delving into philosophical depth about bonds and nature, conveying values such as empathy, self-knowledge, resilience, interconnection, and respect for wildlife.

Attendees can expect a lyrical and profound narrative that follows the growth and maturation of young Bambi, from a young roe deer to an adult stag. The show has been recognized with the Best Performance award at FETEN 2026 and the Drac D'or 2026, and is recommended by the National Theatre Network. It is produced with the support of the Madrid City Council.
