The Takes, a folk-rock trio from Portland, Oregon, bring their blend of rock riffs and earnest songwriting to Showdown Saloon. Composed of Sumner Rahr (guitar/vocals), Guido Rahr (guitar), and Phoebe Webb (bass), the band has built a following with their country-blues rock sound, as heard on their 2024 EP 'Lay Hold' and the anthemic single 'Take My Time'. Their upcoming EP 'Uprooting Roses', produced by David Baron, is set for release in May 2026.
Joining them are The Lowtimers, a five-piece Americana band formed by guitarists and songwriters Austin Smith and Mark Tegio. Their sound, honed over nearly a decade of touring from San Diego to Seattle, blends soulful Americana with pedal steel and harmonies, drawing inspiration from Doc Watson and Townes Van Zandt. Their debut album 'Cracks' is due out in May 2026.
