Kneecap
Kneecap are a hip hop trio from Belfast, formed in 2017 and made up of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí. They rap in a mix of English and Irish, drawing on working-class Belfast life, Irish-language rights and republican politics.

Their releases include the mixtape 3CAG and the 2024 album Fine Art, alongside a biographical film, Kneecap, in which the group played themselves. Their outspoken politics have brought both legal disputes and a large festival following.
Live, the group combine Irish-language verses with electronic production and a confrontational, politically charged stage presence.
