The Snuts
The Snuts are a Scottish indie rock band formed in 2015 in Whitburn, West Lothian, comprising Jack Cochrane (vocals, guitar), Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum Wilson (bass) and Jordan Mackay (drums), who met at school and began playing together as teenagers.

Über The Snuts
Signed to Parlophone Records in 2018, the same year they won Best Breakthrough Artist at the Scottish Music Awards on the strength of early singles such as "Seasons," the band released the Matador EP and a run of further singles before their debut album W.L. (2021) went to number one on the UK Albums Chart, making them the first Scottish act to top the chart with a debut record since The View in 2007.
Before committing to music, the band's members worked as tradespeople, with Cochrane as a joiner, Wilson as a roofer and Mackay as a mechanic, experience they have said shaped the band's songwriting. Their influences include Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines and fellow Scottish acts The Fratellis and The View.
Their second album, Burn the Empire (2022), reached number three in the UK before the band left Parlophone and founded its own label, Happy Artist Records, distributed through The Orchard; a third album, Millennials, followed in 2024.
