Marta Povo: La Poètica de la Llum

This exhibition at the Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona immerses visitors in the visual universe of Catalan photographer Marta Povo Audenis, whose prolific career in the 1970s and 1980s focused on architecture, interior design, and landscape photography—a field then dominated by men. Rather than a chronological survey, the show presents around a hundred original prints grouped by visual affinity and aesthetic tension, inviting a journey through layers of meaning and presence.

Light is both the subject and the metaphor here, celebrated as a creative principle that envelops viewers and encourages a shared way of seeing across all themes.
