La Cena: Outdoor Cinema in Madrid

Set two weeks after the end of the Spanish Civil War, *La cena* follows a young lieutenant, a meticulous maître, and a group of Republican prisoners who must prepare an impeccable banquet for Franco at the Hotel Palace. As the kitchen crew races against time, tensions simmer beneath the surface.

This adaptation of José Luis Alonso de Santos’s play, directed by Daniel Gómez Pereira, stars Mario Casas, Alberto San Juan, and Nora Hernández. The screening takes place in the courtyard of the Centro Cultural Ciudad Pegaso, part of Madrid’s Cine de Verano series.
