Riofaunado: Puppet Show in Madrid's Retiro Park

Riofaunado is a free puppet theatre performance for children, presented at the Teatro de Títeres de El Retiro in Madrid's Parque de El Retiro. The story transports audiences to the jungles of Mexico, where wonderful species like the unicorn of the cloud forest (pavón), the tapir, the manatee, the tepezcuintle, and the rattlesnake live. The jungle is being devoured by a monster, forcing the animals to migrate to a place called "Riofaunando" in the heart of the jungle, where the monster cannot reach them—but Riofaunando has a terrible and fierce guardian.

This family-friendly event is organized by the Teatro Municipal de Títeres and features the company Títeres La Matatena. Attendees can expect a captivating narrative brought to life through puppetry, set in the charming outdoor venue of Retiro Park. The show is recommended for boys and girls, offering a unique cultural experience in a beautiful natural setting.
