Gypsy Maestros: A Night of Virtuoso Romani Music

Gypsy Maestros brings together renowned lăutari musicians from Bucharest and virtuoso cymbalum and violin players from Budapest for a musical journey from the Carpathians to the Danube. The concert blends bohemian elegance with frenetic virtuosity, featuring a rich ensemble of voices, strings, and traditional instruments.

Led by vocalist Mónika Lakatos and violin virtuoso Roby Lakatos, the lineup includes guitar, cymbalum, cobza, accordion, double bass, clarinet, kaval flute, and cimpoi bagpipes.
