Radio Live: Le Jour d'Après Egypte

Aurélie Charon and the Radio Live collective bring their acclaimed documentary theatre project to Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse. Blending live radio, video, drawing, and music, the show weaves together intimate testimonies from people in Egypt, exploring themes of reconstruction and repair after upheaval.

Each performance is a unique, evolving encounter: two guests share their life stories through dialogue, images, and sound, creating a collective logbook that shifts nightly. The work is part of a larger cycle that has previously included chapters on Ukraine and other regions, always focusing on the voices of young people navigating turbulent times.

Presented as part of the Festival d'Automne à Paris 2026, this world premiere offers a hybrid experience that is both a journalistic investigation and a live artistic creation. A post-show discussion with the artists follows the Friday performance.
