This performance tells the story of an unlikely meeting between a little girl from the Caribbean and a dragon from China, creating a bridge between two worlds, two generations, and two imaginations. Through humor, poetry, and philosophy, the tale celebrates attention to others and exchange, while taking audiences on an epic journey through emotions to help identify and decipher them from an early age.

The grounded dragon, unable to fly, speaks of wounds and obstacles that prevent us from moving forward and taking flight. A little girl listens and helps distinguish between small and big hurts—physical or invisible—with gentleness and friendship. The performance gives voice to those who are in pain, who cry and hope, with music and body movement resonating the voice of hidden sorrows, revealing what connects, relieves, and liberates. The show is followed by a participatory and sound exchange.

Performed by Matisse Tchenquela and Yunwein of the company Les Papillons Noir.e.s, this show is part of the Mental Health Information Weeks in Parisian libraries. It offers a blend of storytelling, dance, and music, making it a moving experience for children aged 5 and up, as well as adults.
