Vox Naturae: A Cappella Choral Works at Philharmonie de Paris

Vox Naturae presents a cappella choral works by Raymond Murray Schafer and Veljo Tormis, performed by the choir Les Métaboles under Léo Warynski. Schafer, a central figure in Canadian contemporary music, is known for his experimental compositions and ecological thought, as expressed in his book *The Soundscape*. His *Magic Songs* aim to restore neglected aspects of nature. Tormis, an Estonian composer, blends ancient Finno-Ugric shamanic traditions with modern references in *Raua needmine*, which questions the use of iron for warfare.
