Teen Mortgage, the American punk rock duo from Washington, D.C., bring their high-energy show to Cardiff. Known for their raw garage-punk sound that has evolved into a heavier, stoner-metal-influenced style, the band delivers a visceral live experience. Attendees can expect a tight set from guitarist/vocalist James Guile and drummer Ed Barkauskas, whose chemistry drives every performance.
The duo formed in 2017 after Guile moved from the UK to Maryland and found Barkauskas via a Craigslist ad. Their debut album, *Devil Ultrasonic Dream*, arrived in 2025 on Roadrunner Records, following a string of EPs. With tours supporting Weezer, the Smashing Pumpkins, and Alkaline Trio, and a slot at Download Festival, Teen Mortgage has honed a reputation for explosive, no-frills punk shows.
