Bruno Castro Santos presents *Pendulum*, an exhibition of works built line by line in acrylic and Indian ink on handmade Nepalese paper. Each piece is formed through a slow, repetitive process where the geometric structure is defined in advance but execution remains non-mechanical, allowing variation in gesture, time, and material.

The paper itself is not a neutral background—its fibers, thickness, and irregularities affect how pigment is absorbed and light settles, creating subtle tonal gradations. Compositions move through transitions from light to shadow and back, with color kept restrained, sometimes on the verge of visibility. The differences reveal themselves only to those who take time to look, offering an experience of attention rather than a straightforward object to interpret.
