This special evening marks the 25th anniversary of the G8 summit in Genoa, one of the most controversial episodes in recent European democratic history. The programme begins with a conversation featuring researchers, activists, and citizens reflecting on human rights, freedom of assembly, police violence, and civic participation.
At 21:30, the open-air screening of Daniele Vicari's 2012 film *Diaz – Don't Clean Up This Blood* takes place. The film reconstructs the violent police raid on the Diaz-Pertini school, where dozens of sleeping protesters and journalists were attacked and illegally detained. It premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, winning the Audience Award.
