Festa dos Pequenos Leitores 2026

The 5th edition of Festa dos Pequenos Leitores, dedicated to the sea, invites families to explore the universe of books and imagination at the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a children's book fair, a thematic exhibition, book restoration and braille workshops, storytelling sessions, musical moments, and guided tours of the library.

Inspired by the vastness of the ocean and the rich documentary heritage preserved by the library, this event aims to spark curiosity in young readers. The festival offers a unique opportunity for children and their families to engage with literature in a playful and educational setting.
