O Pai: Strindberg's Classic at São Luiz

This production of August Strindberg's "O Pai" (The Father), directed by Gonçalo Waddington, brings a powerful drama to the stage of São Luiz Teatro Municipal in Lisbon. The play follows a freethinking man whose marriage unravels into a bitter power struggle with his wife, Laura, over the upbringing of their daughter. As Laura schemes to drive her husband to madness by questioning his paternity, the tension escalates into a gripping psychological battle.
