Peddy-Paper Pela Calçada: Lisbon's Artistic Sidewalk Treasure

This guided treasure hunt invites participants to explore Lisbon's iconic Portuguese pavement art, known as calçada, through two distinct routes. One path winds through the historic Baixa Pombalina district, starting at Rossio and ending at Praça Luís de Camões, while the other takes in contemporary designs by modern artists in the Parque das Nações area.

Teams navigate between landmarks, solving clues and discovering the intricate mosaic patterns that define Lisbon's streets. The activity is designed for groups of 12 to 60 participants (Baixa route) or 12 to 36 (Parque das Nações), making it ideal for school trips, corporate outings, or friend gatherings. All participants must be at least 12 years old.

Organized by the Escola de Jardinagem e Calceteiros, the experience combines recreation with cultural education, highlighting the craftsmanship behind Lisbon's unique sidewalks. Advance booking is required, and a group representative must register via email.
