This summer, Washington hosts the All the Feelings Tour, a triple bill uniting three Canadian indie rock acts: Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Stars. The evening spans Metric's synth-driven anthems, Broken Social Scene's orchestral indie rock, and Stars' shimmering pop.
Broken Social Scene, a Toronto collective with a rotating lineup of up to nineteen members, brings a live show shaped by six studio albums. Their sound blends guitars, horns, woodwinds, and violins into experimental, baroque pop arrangements. The set draws from their catalog, including the Juno Award-winning *You Forgot It in People* and their latest release, *Remember the Humans*.
Metric and Stars, longtime collaborators in the Broken Social Scene universe, add distinct flavors. Emily Haines of Metric and Amy Millan of Stars have each contributed vocals to Broken Social Scene albums, making this tour a celebration of interconnected musical histories.
