Masterworks: Gershwin's An American in Paris

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra presents Gershwin's 'An American in Paris' as part of its Masterworks series. The orchestra, the second oldest continuing orchestra in the southeastern United States, has performed at the Kennedy Center as part of the SHIFT Festival of American Orchestras. Led by Music Director Aram Demirjian, the Masterworks series also features major choral repertoire and celebrated soloists.

Performances take place at the Tennessee Theatre. The orchestra regularly attracts internationally renowned soloists and conductors, and its youth orchestra is conducted by resident conductor James Fellenbaum.
