Seattle Reign FC vs. Chicago Stars FC

Two NWSL sides meet in Seattle for a regular-season clash. Seattle Reign FC host Chicago Stars FC, who rebranded from the Chicago Red Stars ahead of the 2025 season and unveiled a new crest and secondary kit. The Stars play their home matches at SeatGeek Stadium but will move to Martin Stadium on the campus of Northwestern University for 2026.

Chicago finished eighth in the 2024 regular season and advanced to the playoffs, where they were eliminated by eventual champions Orlando Pride. The Stars also participated in the inaugural NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup but failed to advance past the group stage.
