Hailing from North Carolina, the young banjoist earned an IBMA Momentum Award and the Steve Martin Banjo Prize. His 2022 debut album, Black Banjo, showcases a modern jazz-infused take on traditional bluegrass, while his 2024 project Detour to the Moon includes a bluegrass cover of Kid Cudi's 'Pursuit of Happiness.'
