Victor Goines Quartet at Snug Harbor

Victor Goines, a New Orleans native and jazz saxophonist and clarinetist, brings his quartet to the intimate Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro. A longtime member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Wynton Marsalis Septet, Goines has performed alongside Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, and Stevie Wonder, and his own compositions number over 200. The evening showcases his jazz, blending classic and contemporary influences in a setting renowned for its focus on the music.

Before the show, guests can enjoy full dinner service in the adjacent Dining Room, which opens two hours before showtime. Inside the Music Room, only charcuterie boards and drinks are available to preserve the acoustic integrity. With two performances scheduled, the venue encourages early arrival to savor a relaxed meal and then settle in for a concert that highlights one of the city's own musical talents.
