Árboles de El Retiro Guided Tree Walk

Discover the remarkable biodiversity of Madrid's iconic El Retiro park on this guided botanical itinerary. With nearly 170 different tree species, the park is a living treasure in the heart of the city. The walk introduces simple techniques for identifying species, highlighting the most representative trees and sharing their traditional uses, legends, and curiosities.

Special attention is given to the park's singular trees, such as the ancient Ahuehuete in the Parterre and the swamp cypresses around the Palacio de Cristal pond. This activity is designed for adults and lasts approximately two hours, offering a relaxed yet informative stroll through one of Madrid's most beloved green spaces.

Advance registration is required and can be completed by email, phone, or in person. Each registration can include up to four people, or the entire family unit. The walk is free of charge.
