The film, originally titled *Ma mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan*, tells the true story of Roland, a boy born with a foot deformity in 1963 Paris. His stubborn mother Esther refuses to accept the doctors' prognosis that he will never walk, and through unwavering faith and determination, she fights to give him a happy life.

The screening is free and open to all, recommended for ages 7 and up. Directed by Ken Scott and starring Leïla Bekhti and Jonathan Cohen, the film earned two César Award nominations.
