Anna Torres Quintet - Soul Brasileira Jazz

The Anna Torres Quintet brings Soul Brasileira Jazz to Le Son de la Terre, a live music and bistronomy venue on the Seine. Led by Brazilian-born singer, composer, and interpreter Anna Torres, the concert is a vibrant and elegant journey through Soul, Samba, and Jazz.

Torres pays homage to three iconic Black female artists—Sandra de Sá, Tania Maria, and Nina Simone—while also performing her own original compositions that blend Afro-Brazilian rhythms, soul groove, and poetic energy. The quintet features Ricardo Feijão on bass, Renato Velasco on guitar, Matthieu Marcellin on piano, and Serge Gascon on drums.

This celebration of women, artistic freedom, and musical dialogue between Brazil, Africa, and American jazz creates an intimate atmosphere. The venue's setting on Port de Montebello adds to the experience.
