Jocelyn Ménard, a Montreal-born saxophonist and composer based in Guadeloupe for over thirty years, brings his Caribbean Jazz Group to Le Baiser Salé for two nights of fusion music. His writing blends jazz, gwoka, funk, biguine, and zouk, following in the tradition of legendary ensembles like the Caraïbes Jazz Ensemble, Tropic Fusion, and Fal Frett.

The evening features his album *Vibes A Péyi Là*, which moves from padjanbel to blues, biguine to mendé, all while keeping Latin jazz and swing at its core. The temperature rises as the band—Fabrice Devienne on piano, Régis Thérèse on bass, and Arnaud Dolmen on drums—delivers a groove that connects Caribbean traditions with contemporary jazz language.
