La Renverse is a shadow theatre and music performance presented by Compagnie Les ombres portées at the Philharmonie de Paris. The story follows a lighthouse keeper who discovers the logbook of a solitary sailor and sets off on an extraordinary voyage to find her lost ship. The show uses no words—saxophone, seashell, percussion, and song accompany shadow puppets projected on a large screen, creating a black-and-blue visual world.
The cast includes marionnettistes Erol Gülgönen, Florence Kormann, and Christophe Pagnon, along with musicians Séline Gülgönen (clarinet, vocals), Fabien Guyot (percussion, vocals), and Jean Lucas (conch, trombone, accordion, vocals).
