Rencontres C.A.L.I.P.S.O.: Art Vivant et Environnements

The third edition of Rencontres C.A.L.I.P.S.O. transforms Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse into a laboratory for debate and dialogue between culture, research, and technology. Artists and professionals from the performing arts and research sectors come together to explore immersive spaces and technological environments, from XR and AI to transmedia writing and live arts.

At the heart of the event is the C.A.L.I.P.S.O. laboratory, dedicated to dance in digital environments. Developed in collaboration with Lucid Realities, Unframed Collection, TMNlab, and Université Paris 8, the project brings together artists, researchers, and immersive technology experts. Together, they investigate how virtual reality and digital tools can transform choreographic writing, renew stage representation, and create new relationships with audiences.
