The Black Parade is a concept album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, centered on the story of a man suffering from terminal cancer known as "The Patient" as he nears the end of his life. The album blends emo, alternative rock, pop-punk, hard rock, punk rock, and glam rock, and was produced by the band alongside Rob Cavallo.

Recorded from April to August 2006 at the Paramour Mansion, the band's self-imposed isolation led to mental health challenges that influenced several songs. The album debuted at number two on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart, and has been certified 4× platinum in the US and UK.

In the years since its release, The Black Parade has been revered as one of the most important albums in emo and My Chemical Romance's defining work. It was reissued in 2016 for its tenth anniversary and ranked number 361 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2020.
