Hayseed Dixie, the band that famously reimagined AC/DC as Appalachian mountain music, brings its self-invented "rockgrass" genre to The Brook in Southampton. Expect a high-energy blend of bluegrass instrumentation and hard rock attitude, with banjos and mandolins driving covers and original songs that are equal parts virtuosic and absurdist.
Since forming in Nashville in 2000, the band has released 16 studio albums and played over 1,400 live shows across 31 countries. Their live performances are known for their raucous, party-like atmosphere, drawing on a catalogue that ranges from hillbilly tributes to classic rock to satirical originals. This show is part of their ongoing tour celebrating 25 years of maximum rockgrass.
