Sea organs and Adriatic sunsets

Zadar layers three thousand years of history onto a small peninsula: Roman forum ruins sit metres from Venetian walls and a Habsburg-era grid of streets, all wrapped by a waterfront that doubles as public art. The Sea Organ turns waves into ambient music along the Riva, and at sunset the Sun Salutation's solar-powered light disc joins it, making the evening promenade the city's real main event rather than any single monument.
