Zagreb Design Week transforms Croatia's capital into a sprawling celebration of design across dozens of venues. For two weeks, the city fills with exhibitions, lectures, panels, workshops, fashion shows, and movie screenings. The event spans all fields—from furniture and fashion to digital, graphic, food, and automotive design.
The festival peaks on Friday with the Night of Design, when multiple locations host concentrated programming. Each edition focuses on a different theme and spotlights a particular country. A highlight is the ZGDW Award, an international competition with a finalist exhibition and prize ceremony. Since its launch in 2014, the event has grown to attract over 25,000 visitors and 300 participants annually.
