FUSO International Video Art Festival

FUSO returns to Lisbon for its 18th edition, transforming multiple venues across the city into open-air galleries for video art. Taking advantage of the summer climate, the festival presents screenings outdoors, inviting audiences to experience moving images in public spaces.

The 2026 edition reflects on territory as a space of resistance, the legacy of colonialism, and new ways of seeing and living the world. Curated by international specialists including Pascale Cassagnau, Lori Zippay, Bruno Z’Graggen, and the duo João Mourão and Luís Silva, the programmes showcase how video art serves as a platform for critical thought and experimentation.

Venues include Espaço Duplacena, MAAT, Museu da Marioneta, and Palácio Sinel de Cordes, offering a diverse range of settings for the screenings. The festival provides a unique opportunity to engage with contemporary video art in Lisbon's cultural landscape.
