Márcia Xavier's solo exhibition 'Fotossíntese' brings together cyanotypes, photograms, monotypes, and photographic prints at Galeria 111 in Lisbon. The artist explores the affinities between the human body and the plant world, creating images where leaves, seeds, feathers, gestures, and organic forms merge into a single sensitive matter.

Drawing on Brazilian flora and references that cross different geographies and imaginaries, 'Fotossíntese' offers a poetic reflection on light, transformation, and the deep bonds connecting humans, plants, and other living organisms. The exhibition runs from June to September 2026, with visits possible Tuesday through Saturday.
