Visitas à Fábrica da Eletricidade

Step inside the former Central Tejo, a thermoelectric plant built in 1908 that once powered all of Lisbon. This guided tour takes you through the original machinery, perfectly preserved, while telling the story of the old factory and the evolution of electricity up to renewable energy.

The visit is included with museum entry and runs daily except Tuesdays. It's a fascinating journey through industrial heritage, offering a unique perspective on how energy shaped the city.
