Xerazade, a Interminável Coleção do CAM

Inspired by the legendary storyteller of *One Thousand and One Nights*, the CAM presents a new exhibition of its collection, organized into fourteen nuclei that evoke themes and facets of the famous tales. The show brings Xerazade into the present, highlighting the magic of words, the power of imagination, and the role of narrative in identity construction.

More than a literary journey, this exhibition proposes a contemporary reading of the collection, crossing recent works with pieces rarely shown, revealing the multiplicity of stories that the collection continues to generate. This is the 65th collective exhibition of the collection, which has grown since 1983 through new acquisitions and curatorial perspectives.

Understood as an "open book," the exhibition will be periodically renewed, in a living dialogue between fiction, memory, and history. Visitors can explore the galleries at the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian - Centro de Arte Moderna, open Wednesday through Monday.
