Bombargo is an independent pop band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, formed in 2013 by Nathan Thoen and Spencer Chilliak. The seven-piece group brings a full, layered sound — keyboards, bass, saxophone and drums behind Thoen’s lead vocals — and has built a following through a steady stream of singles and records, including the charting single “Oxygen” and “Mr. No Good,” which Taylor Swift added to her Spotify playlist.
This tour shares its name with the band’s new album, Love, In Spite of Everything, and brings the group to Charlotte after previous United States runs supporting Michael Franti. Their set pairs pop hooks with a live horn section, drawing on a catalog that spans back to their 2015 debut EP.
