Dragon Smoke Live at Tipitina's

Dragon Smoke is a rare supergroup born from the New Orleans Jazz Fest tradition, formed in 2003 when musicians who don't normally play together are thrown on stage to see what happens. The band brings together Eric Lindell's blue-eyed soul, Ivan Neville's funk and R&B, and the unmistakable groove of Galactic's rhythm section—Stanton Moore and Robert Mercurio. Their chemistry is electric, and their shows are a celebration of spontaneous musical fun.

Since their inception at the tiny, smoky Dragon's Den Bar, Dragon Smoke has been a staple of Jazz Fest season, but they rarely perform elsewhere. Catching them outside of New Orleans is a special treat, as each member leads their own projects. Expect a high-energy set full of interplay, soulful vocals, and relentless funk—a true New Orleans musical experience.
