Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival

Born from Eric Clapton's support for the Crossroads Centre, a drug treatment facility in Antigua, the Crossroads Guitar Festival is a benefit series that pairs the guitarist with a deliberately broad range of six-string players. Clapton personally selects the guitarists who appear, and the result is a concert built around one-off collaborations and unexpected onstage pairings rather than a typical package tour.

The Austin edition continues that tradition, with Clapton headlining a day of guitar-led music. Past editions have combined main-stage sets with a second stage where special guest guitarists and emerging players share the bill, so attendees can expect a full festival rhythm of rotating sets and surprise appearances.
