The Tear Garden: Legendary Pink Dots & cEvin Key

The Tear Garden unites the worlds of Skinny Puppy and the Legendary Pink Dots. The project was born when cEvin Key asked Edward Ka-Spel to write lyrics for a song while on a flight over Greenland, and it soon grew into a full band with its own identity. The current touring lineup brings together synthesisers, machines, guitars and live electronics from both sides of the collaboration.

On stage, the music moves between dense industrial textures and a hallucinatory, experimental-rock haze, touching on neo-psychedelia, ambient, post-punk and goth-tinged electronic sound. The set draws on material from across the project's catalogue, including the recent album 'Astral Elevator', and fills the Star Theater with layered, cinematic sound.
