Bright Eyes brings its indie rock sound to a Detroit stage. The band was founded in Omaha, Nebraska, by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst.
Its core has grown to include producer and multi-instrumentalist Mike Mogis and trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, along with a rotating cast of collaborators from the local indie scene. With recordings that range from acoustic guitar songs to techno-style synthesizer instrumentals, the live set can shift between intimate and fuller sounds.
