Chris Hovan Organic Trio Live at Treelawn Social Club

Chris Hovan’s Organic Trio taps into the current Hammond organ revival, revisiting the classic organ combo genre with a renewed sense of purpose that puts swing and funky energy at a premium. The trio covers a wide range of classics from Dr. Lonnie Smith, Wes Montgomery, Peter Bernstein, and many more, blending iconic jazz standards with modern repertoire.

The current lineup features Columbus organist Jon Eshelman and Cleveland-based guitarist Tim Mirth, joining percussionist and leader Chris Hovan. Each musician brings a deep background in jazz, with Hovan having performed across Northeast Ohio for three decades and shared the stage with national artists like Tony Monaco and Arturo O’Farrill.
