Cirque du Soleil's "O" is a water-themed spectacle that has been a permanent fixture at the Bellagio in Las Vegas since 1998. The show unfolds in and above a 1.5-million-gallon pool, featuring a cast of international acrobats, synchronized swimmers, and divers, many of whom are former Olympic athletes. The theater itself is designed to resemble a 14th-century European opera house, with 1,800 seats and a stage that rises and falls from the water.

Audiences can expect a seamless blend of aquatic, aerial, and ground acts, all set to a live soundtrack that includes a traditional Chinese erhu. The production is supported by a team of 150 technicians, with 15 working underwater during each performance. Surreal characters like Guifà, a curious Sicilian boy, and Le Vieux, the guardian of the theater, guide the narrative, while props such as a 900-pound horse and a 7,000-pound clown house add to the spectacle.

Since its opening, "O" has grossed over $1 billion and celebrated its 10,000th performance in 2019. Backstage tours offer a glimpse into the training rooms, costume workshop, and underwater lighting areas, providing a unique behind-the-scenes look at this aquatic masterpiece.
