Danny Tobias Quartet at Birdland Jazz Club

Trenton native Danny Tobias brings his quartet to Birdland Jazz Club for an evening of beautifully shaped, swinging jazz. A professional since his teens and mentored by Tony DiNicola and Kenny Davern, Tobias is known for his artful improvisation, drawing influence from Louis Armstrong, Ruby Braff, Buck Clayton, and Chet Baker.

Attendees can expect a repertoire that embraces a variety of styles, delivered with individuality and swing. Tobias has performed and recorded with notable artists including Warren Vaché, Scott Robinson, Rossano Sportiello, and Vince Giordano, and is a regular presence at Birdland, often with David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Eternity Band.
