Talib Kweli's Project Rehab Residency in Reno

Talib Kweli was set to bring his Project Rehab residency to Club Underground in Reno, a one-year series of monthly shows aimed at revitalizing the local hip-hop scene. The residency would have featured multiple performances from the acclaimed rapper over 12 dates from April 2026 to March 2027. Unfortunately, the event has been cancelled according to the official page.

Kweli, known as one half of the legendary duo Black Star alongside Mos Def, has been a pivotal figure in conscious hip-hop since the late 1990s. His debut solo album *Quality* (2002) featured the hit single 'Get By' and solidified his reputation for lyrical depth and social commentary. Fans can expect an intimate club setting with high-energy performances blending classic and new material.

The series offered both single-show tickets and a full series pass, providing an affordable way to experience Kweli's artistry across an entire year. Club Underground is located at 555 E 4th St in downtown Reno.
