Blondshell is the stage name of Sabrina Mae Teitelbaum, an American singer-songwriter born April 28, 1997, in New York City and now based in Los Angeles. She first released music as the pop-oriented project BAUM between 2017 and 2020 before adopting the Blondshell name in 2022 and shifting toward a grunge-influenced indie and alternative rock sound rooted in 1990s guitar music.
Her self-titled debut album was released in April 2023, drawing on influences ranging from classic rock acts like the Rolling Stones and David Bowie to 1990s alternative artists including Hole, PJ Harvey and Nirvana. Singles from the record include "Olympus", "Kiss City", "Sepsis", "Joiner" and "Salad", with "Joiner" appearing on Barack Obama's list of favorite songs of 2023.
Blondshell has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and at festivals including South by Southwest and Austin City Limits, and has toured with Suki Waterhouse and Horsegirl. She followed her debut with If You Asked for a Picture in 2025 and Violins in 2026, continuing to build a catalogue centred on candid, guitar-driven songwriting.
