Acerca de Chance Peña
Peña gained national exposure at fifteen as a contestant on season nine of the television competition The Voice, where Adam Levine turned for him during the blind auditions before Blake Shelton added him to his team during the battle rounds; producers later brought him back as a comeback artist during the live playoffs. His song "Up Up, & Away" appeared in the film Five Feet Apart, charted globally on Shazam, and surpassed fifteen million streams. He also co-wrote "Conversations in the Dark," the lead single from John Legend's album Bigger Love.
After the show, Peña signed with Secret Road Music Publishing as both a songwriter and recording artist and relocated to Los Angeles. He released the single "Drown" and the EP The Inevitable in 2020, developing a catalogue of narrative-driven indie folk built around atmospheric production, and followed with singles including "In My Room" and "Rise."
Peña has since released two full-length albums, Ever-Shifting, Continual Blossoming (2024) and When I Change My Mind I Don't Mean It (2025), and continues to write, produce, and perform from his base in Los Angeles.
