John Robins
John Robins is an English stand-up comedian and radio presenter, born May 4, 1982, in Thornbury, Gloucestershire. He studied English at St Anne's College, Oxford, and began performing comedy in 2005, reaching the semi-finals of the "So You Think You're Funny?" competition at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe that year.

Acerca de John Robins
Robins performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe annually from 2009 to 2015, including Skinny Love (2009), Where Is My Mind? (2013) and Speakeasy (2015). In August 2017 he jointly won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for The Darkness of Robins, a show about the breakdown of his relationship with fellow comedian Sara Pascoe.
Since February 2014 he has co-hosted the radio show and podcast Elis James and John Robins with comedian Elis James, which moved from Xfm (now Radio X) to BBC Radio 5 Live in 2019 and had surpassed twelve million downloads by 2017. In 2024 he won the seventeenth series of Taskmaster and went on to compete in Taskmaster Champion of Champions in December 2025.
