Julia Wolf, born Julia Jade Capello, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from Long Island, New York, known for a self-produced sound that blends indie pop, alternative rock and R&B. She was raised in Glen Head, New York, began writing poetry and lyrics while attending North Shore High School, and later studied at SUNY Purchase before pursuing music full-time.
She built an early following on TikTok before releasing her debut EP, Girls in Purgatory, in 2021, followed by the studio albums Good Thing We Stayed (2023) and Pressure (2025). Her stage name originated as a childhood nickname given to her by her younger sister.
