London Concertante is a British chamber ensemble founded in 1991 under the artistic direction of cellist Chris Grist. Based in the United Kingdom, the group performs core classical chamber repertoire alongside gypsy and Latin American music, including the tangos of Astor Piazzolla, and maintains one of the busiest touring schedules of any UK chamber group, playing roughly a hundred concerts a year.

Acerca de London Concertante

The ensemble has appeared at London venues including St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Southbank Centre, Southwark Cathedral and Cadogan Hall, and has toured Finland, the United States, Germany, Ireland, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy. Its repertoire spans Bach, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Mozart and Brahms through to Schoenberg and Piazzolla, and the group has released twelve albums since 1995 on labels including Harmonia Mundi, Toccata Classics and Chandos.
